Well it seems like I have 'sprained a ligament' in my left knee, which on doesn't sound too painful but I assure it is. On sturday I could barely walk, as bending my left leg at all was excriutiatingly painful. It's slowly getting better, but not as fast as I would like. I went to see a doctor about it, and he assured me that it was nothing serious and I've done a bit of research on the net and it doesn't seem to fit the description for any of the recognised knee injuries, mostly because there isn't any swelling at all. However, he also said that it takes about 6 weeks to fully heal. Unfortunately that is the best part of the Summer, and so I'm not able to do any sport at all. Which means no running, football, rollerblading or tennis for ages. To tell the truth, I'm gutted. I've become more fond and fond of running lately and I'm really going to miss not being able to run, and compete. At least it'll give me time to work on my upper body muscles and read more and do more stuff on the computer I probably wouldn't have got done.
On a more upbeat note; I got paid today, so I think it's time for some retail therapy :D

Sorry to hear about the injury. Leg injuries are the worst, especially for you since you're so active with sports. I rollerblade, but that's about the only leg exercise I get. Of course, I don't think I'd be all that upset if I got to spend more time at the computer. :-)
